Wella Trend Vision: Day 2

After having my hair dyed the previous day I returned to Birmingham again ready to shoot with the fabulous team at James Bushell! This time I chose to travel from Nuneaton as it made the journey shorter and meant I got to see my parents for a couple of days!

I arrived at the salon to be hugely surprised that the beautiful Roseanna Velin would be doing the makeup for the shoot! I first met Roseanna back when we were both still in college and I modelled a competition for her. She's come so far and it was great to see her and have a proper catch up and work together again!

Alex began the lengthy process of styling my hair (helped by the lovely James pictured in the background below), starting with scalp braiding all my hair, strategically leaving out mini sections which would then be made into the tightest curls I've ever seen! The curls were brushed out and pinned in patterns and twists to the scalp braids with a piece at the front and long sections at the back dreaded loosely.

I absolutely loved the hair and felt like a little warrior pixie! The braids showed off the colour placement really well and the contrast of the bright copper against my natural dark hair worked great!

After having my makeup done by the awesomely talented Roseanna, it was then time to shoot with the lovely Alex Styles who was the photographer for the day.

Alex was super easy to work with and I hope to work with him again in future. I absolutely loved the final shots we came out with! You can see a sneak preview of some straight-from-camera shots in the video below!

It was then time to get the train home after some post-shoot selfies for a well-deserved sleep to rest my achey head!

I'll hopefully have the final shot(s) from the shoot to share with you all soon!
